A Nigerian journalist Kore-Culture, who is a fan of the DMW boss has called out Davido for hitting him at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport for wanting to have a selfie with him.
Taking to his official Instagram page, Kore-Culture revealed he was at the airport for his entertainment business onFriday 14th February, when he saw the singer. Out of excitement and as other fans were taking selfies with him, he said that he summoned coutage to walk up to the singer for a picture but was surpised to receive a hard attack from him. He noted that Davido hit him hard on his chest, which left him shocked and embarrased.
“On Friday 14th February 2020. I was at the international airport to pick up an artiste I’m promoting. Me been a huge fan of davido, I approached him for a picture: to my uttermost surprised Davido slapped me unprovoked for no reason; I was shocked and utterly embraced, to say the least. I’m a fan and I wouldn’t wanna miss any opportunity to have a picture with my idol, Davido, and nothing hurts me more than attacking me in such a manner. I felt hurt, humiliated in the presence of many people at the scene of the arrival. This is someone I’ve always given preference in my field of entertainment journalism. I have been feeling terrible since then: my chest even hurts“, he explained in the video.After the video went viral, however, Davido reacted, claiming he never intended to hit him but was trying to trying to hug him and because Kore-Culture moved away too fast, it seemed like he hit his chest. “I was trynna hug u bro but u moved away fast so it looked like I was slapping your chest…Love you bro“, he wrote in the comment section.
