Davido Reacts As He Earns Three Nominations For 2024 Grammy

Nigerian award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has earned his first Grammy nomination.

KOKO TV NG reports that ahead of the 2024 Grammy Award, the ‘OBO’ crooner got three nominations for songs in the 2023 studio album ‘Timeless’.

See the nominations and categories below;

– ‘FEEL’ for Best Global Music Performance.

– ‘UNAVAILABLE’ for Best African Performance.

– ‘TIMELESS’ for Best Global Album.

In response, Davido expressed excitement via his X handle, stating that delay is not denial.

He wrote: “3 nominations at the Grammys!! Delay is not denial!!”


In other news,  Davido, has recounted how his father, Adedeji Adeleke, cancelled many of his music shows and got many people scared of booking him.

Davido disclosed this in a recent interview on the ‘Kelly Clarkson Show,’ saying that his father wanted him to succeed in education before choosing music as a career.

The multiple-awarding winning singer said he struck a deal with his father over attending classes and having time to be in the studio for his music, but things took a different turn when his music got bigger.

Davido added that he is the first popular artiste in the Nigerian music industry in his lineage.
