Singer Davido has found himself in a fresh scandal as luxury jeweller Kaycee Michael has served him papers.

According to Kaycee, Davido is owing him N60m ad he wants his money, but the ASSURANCE crooner has reportedly refused to pay. Kaycee also took to his IG page to share copies of the legal documents his lawyers served to ensure he get the said money back from Mr. David “Davido” Adeleke. He wrote: “While I awaits Davido’s reply to my lawyer’s letter of demand, I equally need to inform you my well wishers that as I uphold, my life has been placed on ransom – a bounty of N5million reward for my location. I can’t sleep in my house like an ordinary Nigerian who does biz simply because I can be killed by Davido & Co on my sweat.”

This month of May has been a busy period for Davido on tours and the signing of two new acts (Idowest and Sinzu) to his record Label, Davido Music Worldwide. Court documents filed by Kaycee stated that the Davido informed him in February 2011 that a friend of his father – Adedeji Adeleke – ‘who redsides in United Kingdom was interested in buying gold chain and wrist act for his personal use’.

The documents dated 21st of May also claim Kaycee footed Davido’s traveling bill from Lagos to Ghana, and from Ghana to the United kingdom to complete the deal. Kaycee added: “On this deal I have sold my house car and house to repay the debt of N60 million to owner of jewelry he sold on my behalf without return of a kobo no Naira to me. I want my money back legally hence retaining my lawyers whom I have entrusted to see I get justice and my life back.”
