Former Vice-president Atiku Abubakar has called on the President Buhari-led government to address the abduction and kidnapping of school students in the country. The politician in a thread shared on his Twitter page explained that great darkness awaits the country if the situation is not addressed immediately.
He explained that this cannot be allowed to become a new normal as the FG needs to act fast and not handle the case of criminality with kids’ gloves. He noted a state of emergency needs to be declared in the Education sector and 24-hour security deployed to all areas affected by kidnapping.
