Aliko Dangote has been ranked 117th in the latest Bloomberg Billionaires Index. The index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people at the close of every trading day in New York.
For the latest ranking the business mogul is set to have a net worth of $17.8bn making him 117th in the world. Elon Musk tops the list with a net worth of $194bn and closely followed by Jeff Bezos who also has a net worth of $194bn, Bernard Arnault took the third spot with $174bn. The business mogul is the only Nigerian and African to make the 200 lists on Bloomberg.

 Dangote may forfeit his refinery to the Federal Government as it is running into debts in a new report. SaharaReporters have it that the refinery may soon run into a deep financial crisis as a result of a $7 billion debt burden it has. According to the media, the debt indicates a possible takeover of the project by the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
