Coronavirus: 2nd Nigerian Dies From Pandemic

Nigeria recorded its second fatality due to the deadly novel Coronavirus {COVID-19} infection.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, during a media briefing on Monday afternoon, March 30, 2020.

“As of today, we have recorded 111 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria. “Till date, 3 persons have been discharged after successful treatment. “But sadly, another fatality was recorded over the weekend,”

The minister explained that the patient had severe underlying illnesses, which is believed to have led to the infection taking the victims life. This is coming exactly a week after the first death case was confirmed who was the Ex-PPMC Director Suleiman Achimugu who also had underlying health issues of Myeloma, Diabetes and having also undergone chemotherapy.
