Lagos State Coronavirus: 12 New Patients Discharged In Lagos State

Lagos State has announced the release of 12 new patients, that have been discharged from its Isolation centres after testing negative twice and making a full recovery from the deadly Coronavirus {COVID-19}.

While six patients were discharged from the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba, five recovered at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and one from an isolation facility at Ibeju-Lekki. The patients are said to be 9 males and 3 females including a Ukrainian.

Though Lagos has recorded 947 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and is the epicentre of the COVID-19 virus in Nigeria a total of 199 patients have been discharged so far.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s media aide, Gawat Jubril tweeted;

FLASH: The Incident Commander of #Covid19Lagos and Governor of Lagos State, Mr @jidesanwoolu  has announced the discharge of 12 more #Covid19 patients; 9 males and 3 females including a Ukrainian today…. making a total of 199 recoveries in Lagos State.
