Cubana Chief Priest Endorses Sanwo-Olu For 2nd Term, Netizens Reacts

Celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest, has endorsed the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for a second term in office ahead of the gubernatorial election on March 11, 2023.

In a post on his verified Instagram account, the barman urged Lagosians to vote for Sanwo-Olu, citing his efforts in ensuring the safety of the entire nation during the Covid-19 pandemic.

According to Cubana Chief Priest, Sanwo-Olu acted more like a president during the trying period and has a lot on the pipeline to transform Lagos State.

He argued that the governor deserves another term to perfect his amazing plans for the state, adding that his tribe felt super loved during his first term in office.

He wrote:

“One good turn deserves another @jidesanwoolu good is far bigger than his bad, nobody is perfect, I vividly remember his role to ensure safety to the entire nation during Covid-19.

“He acted more like our president during this trying period. He has a lot on the pipeline already he should get one more term to perfect his amazing plans for Lagos State. Vote APC in Lagos State for proper finishing touches. 4+4 for Sanwolu, this 4 years my tribe felt super loved from this dude, if e never reach you no worry e go reach you this time,”

However, the endorsement did not go down well with some Nigerians, who took to Cubana’s comment section to express their displeasure.

One fan accused Sanwo-Olu of being Tinubu’s puppet and claimed he could not vote for him, while another fan stated that they were only taking orders from Peter Obi, who had asked them to vote for the Labour Party from top to bottom hence he will vote Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.
