Cross River State Commissioner Of Police Dies Of COVID-19

The Cross River State Commissioner of Police, Jimoh Ibrahim has been announced dead, with suspicion he died of the deadly COVID-19 virus. Cross River State CP Jimoh Ibrahim

According to reports, the Cross Rivers State police boss died on Friday, December 18, at the Coronavirus {COVID-19} Isolation Centre at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH Calabar.

Though according to Vanguard News, reports from close family members says that CP Jimoh Ibrahim was rushed to UCTH on Friday morning, December 18, where he died of pneumonia complications.

“Nobody should tell you he died of COVID-19 but the doctors said he died of pneumonia.” the source claimed.

A police source said the CP was diabetic and had complained of not feeling well for some time.

“They have told us to report today at State Police Command headquarters by  3.00 pm to solidarity with him as he is to be given an award for excellent services but nobody told us he is dead.” the source said.
