Cristiano Ronaldo completes moving from Real Madrid to Juventus.

The 33-year-old Portuguese superstar ‘s nine-year spell in the Spanish capital has now come to an end, and he will be playing his football at Juventus Stadium in the 2018/19 season. Ronaldo left Real Madrid on a fee expected to amount to 105 million euros, and his annual salary after tax is €30 million.

“Today, Real Madrid want to express our gratitude for a player who has proved to be the best in the world and who has defined one of the brightest times in the history of our club and world football,” read an official club statement.

“Beyond the conquered titles, the trophies won and the triumphs achieved on the pitch during these nine years, Cristiano Ronaldo has been an example of dedication, work, responsibility, talent, and improvement.”

Ronaldo scored 451 goals in 438 games for Real Madrid, lifting four Champions League titles, three LaLiga crowns, 2 Copas del Rey, and many more, since he arrived Spain in 2009 for a former world record signing from Manchester United.

“For Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo will always be one of his great symbols and a unique reference for the next generations,” the statement concluded.
