Juventus star, Cristiano Ronaldo bags the best player in Serie A award last night, May 19th. This was before his club, Juventus kick-started their celebrations after finally lifting the Serie A trophy and marking their eighth successive season as champions of Italian football. 
Cristiano who finished his debut season in Italian football with 21 Serie A goals and eight assists received the award which made him the first player to pick up the equivalent award in England, Spain, and Italy. Juventus was handed their Serie A trophy after playing their last home game which ended with a 1-1 draw against Atalanta.
Present at the ceremony was Cristiano’s girlfriend Georgina RodrÃguez and mother Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, who watched him receive his award and also celebrate his first league trophy with Juventus.
