COVID-19: 829 New Cases Recorded, Lagos And FCT With High Number Of Cases

The COVID-19 second wave of cases seems not to be slowing down just yet, as a high number of cases continued to be recorded but it still seems under control even though the new COVID-19 strain has also been discovered in Nigeria. The Nigeria Center For Disease Control NCDC has on Saturday, December 26 recorded 829 new cases across the country.  COVID-19

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, Lagos recorded 296 new cases, the highest for the day. Other states with new cases include FCT-291, Kaduna-79, Rivers-40, Kano-35, Nasarawa-25, Bauchi-19, Benue-8, Borno-7, Edo-7, Oyo-7, Sokoto-7, Cross River-3, Jigawa- Ogun-2.

Nigeria now has a total of 83,576 confirmed cases. 70,495 patients have been discharged so far with 1,247 deaths recorded.
