The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 11 new deaths and 806 new COVID-19 cases across the country.
In its latest update on the outbreak of the disease in the country on Friday 18th December, the NCDC revealed that the new deaths have raised the death toll to 1,212.
The 806 cases were discovered in 25 states across the nation, and the Federal Capital Territory, Lagos state leading with 287 cases. The report added that the total reported deaths for today includes a cumulative of 6 deaths recorded in Gombe State over two days.
