COVID-19: FG To Ban Certain Countries Entry Into Nigerian – Aviation Minister

The Federal Government has disclosed that as part of plans to curb the spread of the deadly Covid-19, it would be placing a ban to restrict certain citizens of other countries coming into Nigeria.

Aviation Minister Covid-19The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika made this while speaking at the briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Monday, July 13 in Abuja.

He noted that this was the reason why commencement of international flights into and out of the country had not been approved by the Federal government.

“On the question about when we are beginning international travels, certainly you are very aware that so many countries had placed ban on countries that we cannot go even from Nigeria. Also Nigeria, of course, will place ban on other countries that cannot come in here, because everyone is trying to keep safe.
