Court Ruling Ends Okorocha’s “Shaku-Shaku” Joy

A Federal High Court sitting in Imo State ended Governor Okorocha’s celebratory dance by nullifying the congress of the All Progressive Congress (APC) held in the state few weeks ago.
The presiding judge of the court, Lewis Allagoa, dismissed the congress on the plaintiffs claim, which stated that there was no ward congress in the state on May 5.

Judge Allagoa cited a report of the Independent National Electoral Commission, which confirmed that there was no APC ward congress in Imo State on May 5. He said, “APC should go and be responsible and save our democracy. The defendants and the plaintiffs are members of the same political party, APC. There is no victor, no vanquished.”

The political battle between governor Rochas Okorocha and a group of inner faction party members in the state has continually hindered the progress of the party in the state.
The court ruling will definitely break governor Okorocha’s heart, as he was spotted dancing the trendy “Shaku-Shaku” dance few weeks ago, after concluding the recently nullified congress.
