A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi has granted the embattled professional cosmetic surgeon Anuoluwapo Adepoju bail and adjourned her case till Thursday 9th July.
Recall that Dr Anu was arraigned on a five-count charge on allegations of a botched surgery she allegedly conducted that led to the death of a patient, one Mrs. Nneka Onwuzuligbo. She was also accused her of obstructing the investigation and disregarding several summons sent to her to appear.Presiding the case, Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court granted bail on self-recognisance after she pleaded not guilty to the five counts charge. Liman granted the bail in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and adjourned the case till July 9 for the commencement of trial.
