The World Health Organisation WHO has given an update on the risk level of the deadly Coronavirus spreading across the world.
In a report of the virus given in a daily media briefing via the Organisation’s official Twitter handle, the global risk of having Coronavirus spread across the countries of the world is now very high. This is coming after Nigeria and Mexico confirmed their first cases.
“The continued increase in the number of #COVID19 cases, & the number of affected countries over the last few days, are clearly of concern. Our epidemiologists have been monitoring these developments continuously, and we have now increased our assessment of the risk of spread and the risk of impact of #COVID19 to very high at a global level“, part of the statement reads.
