Coronavirus: Katsina State Lifts Ban On Religious Gatherings

Katsina state government today announced that it will be lifting the ban on religious gatherings in the state which was imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The state governor Aminu Masari made the announcement today and appealed to religious leaders to follow all safety rules.

He advised the people to adhere strictly to health and security advice like wearing of facemasks, physical distancing, washing of hands with soap and running water, and use of sanitisers. He said the decision was to enable Muslim and Christian faithful to observe their religious activities.
