Coronavirus: Ban All Religious Gatherings – House Of Rep Tells FG

COMMITTEE
To prevent and limit the spread of the coronavirus, the House of Representatives has advised the Federal Government to place a ban on all religious activities.

Although a plea and move for the government to shut down schools and other institution was rejected by the house, the house has moved for a ban on all religious gathering.

The lawmakers also decided on a test of all members of the house and those who work in the environment to be certain they are free from the virus.

They also advised airports and other public institutions to put structures in place that will discourage large crowds.
