The Commissioner for Health Professor Akin Abayomi has announced that another person has died of Coronavirus in the state, an 83-year-old woman due to complications from COVID19 in Lagos. 
Professor Akin Abayomi, via his Twitter handle this afternoon announced the passing of the elderly woman.
”Lagos recorded 1 death, bringing total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 14. The deceased is a female, aged 83 with underlying health issues. Let’s observe #SocialDistancing and #StayHome to stop the transmission of #COVID19 infection” he wrote
Lagos State remains the epicentre of the COVID19 pandemic in Nigeria, with 309 confirmed cases, 109 discharged patients and 14 deaths.
