The deadly coronavirus has hit Africa with the first case recorded in Egypt, as confirmed by Egyptian Health Ministry.
In a joint statement released by the Health and Population Ministry yesterday, the case has been related to the World Health Organization and the patient has been placed in isolation in a hospital for treatment and monitoring.
Egypt is believed to be the 28th country in the world to record the case of the deadly virus which broke out in Wuhan, China and it is the first in Africa. Read also: Coronavirus: Singapore Church Now Holds Service Online
