Conor McGregor Hands Himself In To NYPD After Attacking Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Coach 

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has turned himself in to cops after he allegedly attacked rival Khabib Nurmagomedov at a media event in New York. The UFC superstar’s plane was grounded in the Big Apple while police searched for him.But McGregor later walked into the police station voluntarily and will now be charged with criminal mischief and reckless endangerment. Earlier, UFC chief Dana White had said: “There is a warrant out for Conor McGregor’s arrest and they’re looking for him right now. His plane cannot take off, he cannot leave the state of New York with this warrant. I’m assuming if they don’t catch him he’ll turn himself in.”Shocking footage emerged showing Irishman McGregor, 29, bursting into the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and smashing the window of a bus Nurmagomedov was in with a trolley before trying to launch a metal barrier at it.UFC star Michael Chiesa, who was in the coach with Nurmagomedov, was reportedly hospitalised with several cuts sustained from broken glass.Chiesa, 30, was released from hospital and is still set to fight on Saturday against Anthony Pettis.McGregor was reportedly retaliating after Nurmagomedov confronted the Irishman’s pal Artem Lobov earlier this week.White claims McGregor and “30 friends” stormed the event before becoming embroiled in a brawl with Nurmagomedov.Photo Credit: Getty
