Mixed martial arts fighter, Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from the sport at age 31.

He wrote: “Hey guys I’ve decided to retire from fighting. Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been!

“Here is a picture of myself and my mother in Las Vegas post one of my World title wins!

This is not the first time the Irish fighter is speaking about his retirement from fighting. He announced the same thing in March 2019, but came back to win American fighter Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in Las Vegas, Nevada with a technical knockout.Photo Credit: Getty
