One of the many things that keeps playing on people’s mind about the cause of Chadwick Boseman’s death is how he fought the battle without the public knowing and a tweep has called attention to how he was trolled for weight loss which must have emanated from the illness and chemotherapy treatment.
Congolese entrepreneur Jordan Sumbu took to Twitter to recall how the Black Panther star had been so castigated that he was forced to take down his pictures. He then admonished people to be good and nice to others and stop judging as they do not know the battles they are fighting secretly.
“Chadwick Boseman was relentlessly castigated over his drastic weight loss to the point where he had to delete pictures and turn off comments on IG. Let this be a lesson to be please be mindful about your words & judgements. You don’t know what type of battle people are fighting“, his first tweet reads. “And this includes celebrities, too. People are very cruel and miserable on social media. Hyper-visibility & fame don’t make anyone less human. You can either choose to brighten someone’s day or contribute to their pain or trauma. Words touch or scar people for life“, he added.
