Young Comedian Taaooma Speaks On Getting Married At 21

Comedian and skit maker extraordinaire Maryam Apaokagi popularly referred to as Taaooma, who recently got engaged on her 21st birthday back in February, in an interview shared how she feels about getting engaged and getting married quite young. Taaooma And Abula

She said in an interview with Saturday Punch, that “It feels nice to be engaged at a young age. I did not know it would happen this soon because I was indifferent about it”.

“Getting married early or late had never bothered me. I actually still do not believe that I am engaged.”

Her young fiancee Abdulaziz Green alias Abula was also in the interview, and when he was asked why he did propose to his lover he said he did so be he felt it was the right time to do so.

“I proposed to Taaooma because I felt it was time to ask her to be my wife. I met her during my national youth service in Kwara State. She was still in school then. I do not date for fun,” he said.

Born Apaokagi Maryam, Taaooma got engaged in February in Namibia. However, she announced her engagement official to her fans in a YouTube video in October.
