Colombia’s James Rodriguez Doubtful For England Game!

James Rodriguez could be on the bench when Colombia face England on Tuesday.

Colombia coach, Jose Pekerman hopes the 26-year-old star midfielder will be fit to play in their last-16 clash with the England squad led by in-form Harry Kane at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow. “We had good news after medical tests, he doesn’t have a serious injury. We still have a day and a half to see how he feels, and as always we hope that he will be able to play,” Pekerman said at his news conference.

James played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup where he won the Golden Boot as top goalscorer with six goals.

“Colombia have a lot of potential as a team. We are a very strong opponent over the years. We want to do what we did in Brazil and show that we can play against teams like England,” Pekerman added.
