Global soft drink giants, Coca-Cola, has finally taken the huge leap of swerving into the world of alcohol production as they launched a lemon flavored alcopop, in Japan on Monday.
The US-based drinks producers released three fizzy lemon drinks on Monday. The company claimed that the product aims at expanding their consumer base, especially among youths and women.
The three drinks range from 3 to 8 percent alcohol level. The drinks are modeled on Japan’s popular Chu-Hi drinks, usually a mix of local spirit and a range of fruit flavors. However, the 125-year-old organization said there are no plans to bring the new drinks range to markets outside Japan.
