Some said victims of MBA Forex fraud have gathered at a Christ Embassy Church in Port Harcourt in protest, demanding that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome return investors’ money which was donated by the alleged fraudster, Maxwell Odum.
In a video which surfaced on social media, the protesters were seen carrying placards and banners, carrying the words of their various demands.“Maxwell Odum as you mock Christianity, God will mock you”, “Fraudster is not different from terrorist. Both can kill”, “Maxwell, my hard earned money should not be your tithe”, “Game over for you MBA ICT. LTD”, are some of the inscriptions on the placards and banners the protesters bore. Meanwhile, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had awarded the said Maxwell Odum, who attends Christ Embassy Port Harcourt Zone 1, the Partner of The Year for 2019 nd 2020 consecutively at the church’s IPPC Presidential Awards, having reportedly donated over 1 billion naira to the church.Reports have it that although the Security and Exchange Commission SEC had listed Maxwell Odum’s MBA forex as an unlawful market operation and warned the Nigerian public against investing in this kind of scheme, it has been certified by the CAC, CBN. Reports also have it that his website says the company has over 10,000 active investors and many business locations in Nigeria, as well as has locations abroad in countries such as the UAE and United Kingdom. See the protesters making their demands below:
