Nollywood actress Chinonso Arubayi has brought fresh memories of her late gospel singer husband, Eric Arubayi to the hearts of many as she pens a short, lovely note to him on his supposed to be birthday, the fourth posthumous one to come, declaring that he is in her heart forever.
Eric Arubayi had died from complications arising from the administration of expired malaria drugs at Delta State University Teaching Hospital, Oghara on February 11, 2017, aged 34. Following his death, Chinonso said, “My husband and I lived a faith-based life. We prayed together. When he died, I lived in denial because I felt betrayed by God that my husband, a gospel artiste, could die. For the longest time, I didn’t want to pray. People sent me scriptures and messages, I didn’t want to have anything to do with it.”
Though she has moved on from that phase, Chinonso Arubayi carries her husband in heart forever and no anniversary of his or theirs will ever pass without she celebrating him. He is supposed to have turned 38 today and to commemorate the day, she ate his favourite fruit cake. “Eating your favorite fruit cake today even though you are far away. Meanwhile in an earlier post, Chinonso Arubayi admonished people to be kind to one another as everyone is going through different seasons.
