Ace writer and author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has written a long letter on her website, where she addressed the many controversies about her which were spread by a young writer she took on as a mentee to help advance her writing career.
The writer in the lengthy note put on her website revealed that the mentee took advantage of her after she opened her home to her and allowed the writer in. She explained that the writer published several slanders about her calling her transphobic and also recruited social media users to drag her and cancel her. Though she hid the identity of the writer several social media users have accused several people of being the one mentioned.
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie also addressed social media trolls who speak evil about celebrities forgetting that their human as well. She explained that people publish lies, false stories about celebrities and they are unable to respond because the people around them advise them against it making the stories become true.
She said a lot of people take advantage of celebrities (opportunist) and use them as a way to gain fame and climb the ladder. Read the full note on her website.Â
