Nigerian writer and female activist Chimamanda Adichie has put herself in the spotlight again after she was named among top Africa’s 50 most powerful women according to Forbes.
The list was released on Friday, March 6, during the Forbes women summit 2020 which took place in Durban, South Africa.
According to Forbes, the list is of women who are redefining the culture and gloabal outlook of the continent.

The list also contained actress, writer and black-skinned screen diva, Lupita Nyong’o.
Others in the list include Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Ellen Johnson, Fatou Bensouda among others.
