80 years old Chief Samuel Oluyemisi Falae CFR, has announced his retirement from active politics, as well as his resignation from the Social Democratic Party.
At a Press Conference in Akure today, the Former Federal Government Secretary and Founder, SDP, cited his health challenges and the irresolvable differences in the party as his reasons for resignation.
Recall that the SDP is facing crisis over who should be the presidential candidate, between former minister, Professor Jerry Gana and former governor of Cross River Donald Duke. Donald Duke however has reacted to SDP National Executive Committee (NEC) decision, saying he remains on the polls.
