Chelsea have reignited their interest in Everton’s Ross Barkley by tabling a £15 million bid for the English forward, after all efforts to sign him last year failed.
Barkley’s bid was brought down to half the price Chelsea offered last year because, he has only six months remaining on his current contract with the Toffees.
Though Tottenham have also declared interest in Barkley, they are less likely to secure the deal after Chelsea officially tabled a bid for him. The Blues also have a long-term interest in Juventus left-back, Alex Sandro, despite Juve’s attempt to prevent his sale.
