Chelsea Reportedly Set To Sack Antonio Conte After Fallout

According to multiple reports making the rounds, Chelsea’s top executives are set to replace Antonio Conte with former Borussia Dortmund boss Thomas Tuchel. Blues director Marina Granovskaia is reportedly fed up with Antonio Conte and wants a change.A difficult summer including struggles in the transfer market and talk of a power struggle between him and members of the Blues hierarchy has somewhat made the report unsurprising. Tuchel and former Barca coach Luis Enrique, who are both currently without a job, have been considered to replace the Italian, but the German is favoured because of his better grasp of English. But club sources have also reportedly denied that there is a succession plan in place for the Italian with Tuchel not a name on their radar. Only last week Conte laid out his vision for a long-term plan at Stamford Bridge, but stopped short of committing of being around to finish the job.Photo Credit: Getty
