Chelsea Legend, Claude Makelele Applies For Cameroon Coaching Job

Former Chelsea defensive-midfielder, Claude Makelele, has officially declared his interest in taking his love for football to the next level by submitting an application to coach the Cameroon men’s football team.
The Cameroon job became vacant after the departure of Belgian tactician, Hugo Broos. Broos led the Indomitable Lions to glory when they country won the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in 2017, but he failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Now The Cameroonian Football Federation want a new manager at the helm as the country prepares to defend their AFCON title as hosts in 2019. The Cameroon Football Federation have been receiving applications from several coaches around the world interested in the vacant job.
The football body disclosed that over 60 applicants have been successfully cleared and included in the list is Chelsea legend Claude Makelele.
