2016/2017 Premier league champions, Chelsea attached an £88 million to their defensive midfielder, N’Golo Kante, amidst interest from Paris Saint Germain.
The former Leicester City midfielder joined Chelsea for £30 million in 2016 and won the PFA Player of the Year award, as Antonio Conte guided Chelsea to the title.
After the French giants announced Unai Emery’s departure this week, they also disclosed their willingness to re-ignite the force of the team, by signing a good number of new players, despite the presence of Neymar and Mbappe. Though Kante’s impressive form has not faded away, the likely departure of Antonio Conte might make the French man seal a move to his motherland.
