The Blues turned out to be too hot to handle as they defeated West Bromwich Albion 4-0 at the Hawthrons Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
West Brom suppressed the visitors with a 1st minute goal by Salomon Rondon, but their joy was short-lived after the linesman raised his flag against the West Brom striker.
Alvaro Morata erased West Brom’s memories of a high spirit shortly after with a swift rebound after Eden Hazard blasted a shot at the West Brom post. Classy goals from Hazard and Alonso assured the blues of a well deserved victory as they moved ahead of Tottenham on the Premier league table.
West Brom manager, Tony Pulis might have managed his last game with the Hawthrons after the club’s chairman watch in dismay as their team lost horribly at home.
