“My Crush Don Die” – Charly Boy Mourns American Singer, Tina Turner

Popular Nigerian singer, Charly Boy has reacted to the death of Tina Turner.

He took to social media to mourn Tina Turner, the late music legend who passed away recently.

Before her demise, Turner had been suffering ill-health since she was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016 and having a kidney transplant in 2017.

The ‘Nwata Miss’ singer, in a series of photos on his Instagram page on Thursday, expressed sorrow over the deceased.

He wrote, “Oh God!! My crush don die, The Queen of Rock and Role.

“Turner’s career spanned five decades. After a farewell tour in 2000, she went back on the road in 2009 aged 69 to celebrate her 50th anniversary in music.

“RIP, the world loved you and so did I”.

Celebrities and fans have paid tribute to Tina Turner, the soul star behind hits like The Best and What’s Love Got to Do With It, who has died aged 83.

Tina was also praised by Mariah Carey and Oprah Winfrey as a “survivor” who overcame years of domestic abuse.

The Obamas praised her for “singing her truth through joy and pain”.
