Popular entertainer and controversial activist, Charles Oputa, aka Charly Boy, has announced plans to hold a massive rally in support of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party(LP) Peter Obi.
The 72-year-old entertainer had said he was going to disclose his presidential candidate few days ago. While endorsing the aspiration of Obi during a TV show ‘Kakaki’, Charly boy boasted that the rally would be the biggest ever.

He tweeted: “Hummmm, finally on Kakaki today, I publicly endorsed Peter Obi. Before this month runs out, I will stage the biggest rally ever. Who’s with me on the rally?
Celebrities throughout the country have come out openly to endorse one politician or another. While celebrities like Charly Boy, P-square, Okey Bakassi and the likes are queuing behind Peter Obi, Brymo and most of the Yoruba Nollywood actors are supporting Asiwaju Tinubu.

Although the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is yet to officially open the floor for campaign, supporters of the major political parties have been seen holding rallies throughout the country.
Political stakeholders are predicting a four horse race in the coming election, with the labour party of Peter Obi and NNPP of Raiu Kwankwaso being the surprise package of this electioneering period.
