Charles Okocha the Nollywood actor, has survived a car accident on the Third Mainland Bridge.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the actor shared pictures of himself recuperating in the hospital.
Okocha also put out videos from the accident scene while thanking God for sparing his life.
“Thankful for life 🙏🙏🙏Was involved in a car accident on 3rd mainland bridge last night but GOD DID!!! We Asaaaaa still ❤️,” he wrote.
The comedian, who is also fondly called Igwe 2Pac, has been featured in hundreds of Nollywood films.

He is well known for playing bad-boy roles in movies.
In April 2020, Okocha was in the news after he threatened legal action against an individual who shared a picture in which he was visibly edited and merged with that of a naked woman.
In related news, Okocha once lamneted that Nigerian movie producers once stereotyped him by limiting his role to being a bad boy.
Charles Okocha also spoke about his teenage daughter and why he guides her so preciously during a recent interview with Sunday Scoop, Charles Okocha said,
“At some point in the industry, I was being stereotyped as I was being given only bad boy roles. I knew that I could do more than that but in the industry, they tend to give you one particular role once they know that you are good at it.

I had to infuse comedy into my acting because I wanted to be distinct and also put a smile on people’s faces. Back then, if you are cast for a role, you become a star automatically. Even when the film is not yet out and you are still filming, people would start giving you the attention of a celebrity. Then, hard work is more vital and you get roles based on merit. Presently, if you are a producer, you can choose to give your friend or relative a lead role.
