Champions League: PSG Coach, Enrique Names Strong Squad For Newcastle In Paris

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), coach Luis Enrique has named a strong squad to face Newcastle United in tonight’s UEFA Champions League tie at the Parc de Prince in Paris.


Enrique named a 19-man squad that boosted the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele to lead his side’s attack line against the Premier League side.

Enrique’s men had lost 4-1 against Newcastle when both teams met some weeks ago at St. James’ Park.

The kick-off time for the PSG vs Newcastle game is 9pm, Nigerian time.

In other news, Germany on Tuesday booked their place in the final of the ongoing FIFA Under 17 World Cup in Indonesia.


This was possible after they defeated Argentina 4-2 via penalty shootout. in the semi-final clash.

The semi-final match ended in a 3-3 draw at Stadion Manahan.

Agustin Fabian Ruberto scored a hat-trick for Argentina during the encounter.

Paris Brunner (2) and Max Moerstedt (1) both scored the goals for Germany against Argentina.

The outcome of the game means Germany have now qualified for this year’s FIFA Under 17 World Cup final and will face the winner between Mali and France in the coming days.

Mali will tackle France in the other semi-final fixture later today.
