Champions League Final: Liverpool Fans React After Flights To Kiev Were Cancelled


A host of Liverpool fans have poured out their emotions after flights to the Champions League final were cancelled due to landing spot troubles.
Worldchoice Sports, a popular English sporting event organization, said it could not secure landing slots at the Boryspil Airport in Kiev for three planes due to a series of problems with airport authorities in Ukraine.

Thousands of Liverpool supporters had paid up to £2,000 to get flight reservations to Ukraine, and they wasted not time in displaying their disappointment.
Chris Bolland, a devoted Liverpool fan wo have supported the club for the past 50 years said he was “disgusted” over the mix-up which means he will have no other option than to watch the match from home.

The owner of Worldchoice Sports, Shay Soni, said he was “devastated” to have to canceled the flights. He vowed to keep trying to help stranded supporters.
Shay said: “The past 24 hours have been an absolute nightmare. It really has been a very difficult time. The issue started last Friday when the slot co-ordinators at Kiev airport were unable to give us slots for our aircraft“.
