Celine Dion Sells Her House One Year After Husband’s Death

After losing her husband early last year, Legendary French-Canadian pop singer, Celine Dion, has found a buyer for her $72 million dollar worth water-front home in Jupiter island, Florida.
The veteran musician initially put the lavish seaside home she built with her husband, René Angélil, who died of throat cancer on the 14th of January 2016, on the market for $72 million. But she struggled to sell the dream home as most buyers were alarmed by the price placed on the property, which looks like nothing else in the hood or anywhere else for that matter.
The back porch leads directly into a pool that’s larger than most people’s backyards. Beyond that is a winding lazy river that encircles a children’s playground including two waterslides connected by a rope suspension bridge.
The “resort home” has gone into contract and is expected to be sold by Sotheby’s International Realty, Quebec for $38.5 million.
