As the world struggles and seeks measures that will eliminate the global pandemic caused by the coronavirus, certain important and influential persons in varied part of the world have sadly lost their lives to the virus.
A painful and sad loss not just to their families and loved ones, but to the industry they represent, their nation and the world at large. We decided to bring you a list of celebrities that have lost their lives to the deadly virus. Our prayers are indeed with them.
1. Mark Blum: 1950 -2020
An American actor who left this shores for yonder on the 25th of March from the virus complication. He was aged 69.2. Manu Dibango (1933-2020)
The Cameroonian saxophonist known for his 1972 hit, ‘Soul Makossa died on March 24. He was 89 years old.3. Terrence McNally (1938-2020)
The playwright died of complications from coronavirus on March 24 at age 81.

4. Lucia Bose
The Italian actress who starred in the 1950 movie, Story of a Love Affair died from the virus on March 23. She was 89 years old.
5. Stephen Dick:
Scottish diplomat who was the deputy head of mission at the British embassy in Budapest died from the coronavirus on March 24. He was 37 years old.
6. Floyd Cardoz:
The Season 3 winner of the United States show Top Chef Masters died on March 25. He was aged 59.
7. Nashom Wooden:
Known as New York City drag queen Mona Foot, died from coronavirus. He was 50 years of age.
