On Monday, a jury in the state of Georgia found Kebe was liable for defamation, invasion of privacy, and for causing the singer, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, emotional distress.

She was ordered to pay the WAP hitmaker a total of £927,437.50.

Kebe is the host of the YouTube channel UnWineWithTashaK a ‘celebrity gossip site’ which has one million subscribers.

Cardi B’s lawyers said Kebe had waged ‘a malicious campaign to damage and destroy (Cardi B’s) reputation among her fans and the consuming public’.

They said the platform was used to ‘publish and spread malicious rumours, slanderous assertions, and false information about celebrities…for her personal financial gain.’

The lawyers said that Kebe had started making ‘degrading and harassing statements’ in early 2018 and had continued to do so, at one point claiming the singer ‘prostituted for a living’.

Cardi B was caused ’embarrassment, humiliation, mental anguish, and emotional distress,’ her lawyers said.

The singer has not publicly addressed the judgment.

Kebe said on her social media: ‘My Husband, Attorney’s, & I fought really hard [sic].

‘I want to thank them for their long hours and sleepless nights. Winos it’s only up from here. See y’all in a few days. Back to work.’

She added: ‘I forgot to thank all of the viewers for all of your support. In this business, this is part of the protocol. Everyone in my seat has been through this, & this ain’t the last. This comes with the territory. See y’all Friday! It’s long overdue!’

The lawsuit was filed in March 2019, with filings claiming: ‘Kebe became obsessed with slandering and harassing [Cardi]. In the 16 months preceding the filing of this lawsuit, Kebe put out at least 38 videos regarding [the rapper].’

Kebe denied any wrongdoing and attempted to file her own lawsuit against Cardi for assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress, alleging that Cardi ‘began to publicly trash’ her online, resulting in her being threatened.

Her allegations were dismissed by Judge William M. Ray II. Cardi is best known for songs including WAP, Up, and Bodak Yellow.
