Cardi B Lands First Lead Movie Role In Paramount Comedy ‘Assisted Living’

Singer Cardi B has added a new feather to her ever growing cap as she has landed her first lead role in Paramount Comedy movie ” Assisted Living”.

The movie follows the story of a lady named “Amber” to be played Cardi who is a small-time crook who finds herself in over her head when a heist goes wrong. On the run from the cops and her former crew, she struggles to find anywhere to hide. Running out of options, Amber disguises herself as an elderly woman and hides out in the one place no one will look — her estranged grandmother’s nursing home.

The rapper began her acting career with VH1 reality show “Love and Hip-Hop,” which she appeared on from 2015 to 2017. She also made a cameo in the yet to be released Fast and Furious movie. A few days ago the rapper revealed how much her video for WAP cost to shoot, admitting it was her most expensive production to date at $1million (£733,000).
