Meryem Uzerli, 35, who is famous for starring in a Turkish TV series, turned heads at the premiere of Rocket Man last night during the annual Cannes Film Festival 2019.
The Turkish-German actress, who is best known for playing Hürrem Sultan in Turkish TV series Muhteşem Yüzyıl, suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction on the star-studded red carpet.
The brunette beauty arrived in a stunning scarlet gown, featuring a show-stopping ruffled skirt with layers of soft tulle fabric and a beaded bodice for the glitzy event. She rubbed shoulders with the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Eva Longoria, Taron Egerton and Elton John who were also at the hotly-anticipated movie screening.
Meryem’s delicate top was embellished with red beads in an intricate pattern which just about covered her modesty. However, on closer inspection, the see-through sheer fabric revealed she was wearing nude-coloured nipple pasties under her dress.
Unconcerned by the mishap, the braless star put on a leggy display as she sashayed along the red carpet and posed for pictures in her gown which featured a thigh-high slit. Soon after, misfortune struck again when the well-dressed photographers captured an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction as she lifted up her voluminous dress to reposition it.
The actress unwittingly flashed her underwear while standing on the hem of her dress. The crowd certainly got more than they bargained for, with a view of her knickers as well as her toned legs and silver strappy heels.
