Kiss Daniel has changed his stage name to KIZZ DANIEL!
In the court documents G-Worldwide filed against Kiss Daniel in December, the music company claimed he breached a seven-year artiste management deal that he signed with them in 2013. The record label stated that Daniel breached the deal with series of actions that include appointing a new manager, and using the stage name ‘Kiss Daniel’ without seeking the label’s permission, contrary to the provisions of the contract.
But on March 9, it was revealed that Kiss Daniel won the court case against G-Worldwide, and he has since continued with the transformation of his brand, having announced his personal record label, Flyboy Inc. in November 2017. Kiss Daniel has also landed collaborations with Wizkid, Seyi Shay, CDQ, Omawumi and more. However, Kiss Daniel was prohibited from having music collaborations with other artists when he was still signed to his former label.
Kiss Daniel who’s popular for hit song “Woju,” has just changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel, with his manager Ubi Frankling confirming the move, but we are waiting for the official announcement from their camp. What we can confirm is that the singer has effected the name change on his Instagram account which now reads “@iamkizzdaniel” on the timeline of his 2.9 million followers. Kiss Daniel is presently in Canada where his first show in the North Amrican country took place in Toronto, and he’s expected to hit the stage in Calgary on Friday.
