Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy finally breaks silence and reacts to the recent rants and calling out of Nigerian artistes by Ghanaian Reggae singer and rap Shatta Wale who had slammed Nigerian artistes for not promoting nor supporting Ghanaian singers and artistes despite getting massive support and endorsement from Ghana.
Shatta Wale claimed and was supported by another popular Ghanaian singer Stonebwoy who both claim that Ghanaian songs rarely ever get air time on Nigerian radio stations, neither also has any Ghanaian singer being promoted and given a headliner role at a show nor a concert in Nigeria unlike how well Nigerian artistes get all of this over in Ghana.

While claiming that though Nigerian music is the rave of the moment across the world, he Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy claimed that is currently Nigeria’s turn and very soon their own turn will come and they will shut out Nigerian artistes same way they too were shut out by Nigerian artistes and the Nigerian entertainment industry.
But as ever fighting the Nigerian and Africa cause Burna Boy has come out to speak against this brutish claims by SHatta Wale, saying Ghana can’t lay claim to what isn’t his and rather should lose its entitlement feeling.
Burna Boy called out Shatta Wale for pushing a separatist/divisive agenda between Ghana and Nigeria. Burna Boy pointed out that this call out by Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy was nothing but a disservice to the coming generation.
Burna also noted that South African, American, and UK music is played in Ghana but why is it that it’s Nigerian music that is being called out.
