Grammy award winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy alongside three other Nigerian artistes have been nominated in the 2023 edition of the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Awards.
Burna Boy will spar against other international acts including Chris Brown, Drake, The Weekend and Usher in the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist category.

He will also face Asap Rocky, Dave Free & Kendrick Lamar, Director X amongst others in the Video Director of the Year category for his effort in the visual interpretation of the monster hit single last last.
In other news, Nigerian stand-up comedian, Pencil has asserted that popular singer, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable cannot be trusted as a friend.
He said Portable is not loyal to anybody, so it will be detrimental to anybody who shared their secret with him on the basis of friendship.

The comedian made the comment during the preview to his show, Pencil Unbroken which is scheduled to hold on July 9th.
He said Portable has no friend and is more loyal to pounds, dollars and every type of currency than any individual.
